Yes. Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a former capital for over 400 years. You can visit on your own, but a local guide adds context, legends, and the small details that make ruins feel alive.

Yes. It is roughly 80 km north of Bangkok and usually takes about 1 to 2 hours depending on transport. A private van is the easiest door to door option.

Early morning around 07:00 or 08:00 is best for cooler air and fewer crowds. Late afternoon is great for photos, especially at riverside temples during golden hour.

Many major temples charge about 50 THB per person for international visitors. Fees are paid at the gate and are not included in tour prices.
